Cape Carteret Summer Camp at The GYM
Monday thru Friday 7:30am – 6:00pm

Keep the kids active for eight weeks of the summer (except for a one week break July 1-5). Children enrolled in our Summer Camp Program participate in themed weeks, go on field trips, and swim in our indoor pool everyday!

Summer Learning Themes

Science Week
Who’s ready for some fun experiments for Science Week? Come join us as we become scientists this week and work with experiments. You will have the chance to meet new scientists, do crafts and experiments, play outside, and swim for an hour everyday! Come join us for this fun week!

All Around the World Week 
We’re not going around the world in 80 days, but in 5 days! We get to explore all the continents and learn about different cultures through crafts and activities! Join us as we explore and learn about the different countries, including some of them that you have never heard of. You will have the chance to meet new travelers, do crafts, play outside, and swim for an hour everyday!

Treasure Hunt Week 
Ahoy, Mateys! Who’s ready for a treasure hunt? Come join us as we become pirates this week and search for gold.This fun week will be pirate themed with fun crafts planned out each day. You will also meet new matey, explore outside for buried treasure, and swim in the waters for a good o’hour! Come joining your fellow lads for your next pirate adventure!

Disney/Superhero Week 
Mom…Dad…WHERE IS MY SUPER SUIT and my Disney Ears? Join us, as we become superheroes and mouseketeers for this week! You will have a chance to meet new superheroes and mouseketeers, do crafts and activities, soar outside, and swim for an hour everyday! Come join us with fellow heroes for this week’s adventure!

Team Building Week 
Calling all team builders! During this fun week, we will be focusing on working together through activities and putting your communication abilities to the test! Join us this week, to meet new team builders like yourself, play outside, and swim for an hour everyday! Come join us for this week of amazing team building at our summer camp!

Bon Appetit Week 
We will be exploring more than just the four main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corns, and syrup. This week, we will be making fun food crafts, using some fun recipes along the way! Join us this week, to meet new chefs like yourself, play outside, and swim for an hour everyday! Come join us for this week’s adventure at our summer camp!

Let’s Go to the Circus Week 
Step right up, as you enjoy our week at the circus! We will have fun crafts and activities to enjoy! Kids will have plenty of outdoor time and enjoy the pool for an hour each day! It’s showtime!

Nature Camp Week 
Wanna see how incredible nature can be? We will have fun crafts and activities to enjoy! Kids will have plenty of outdoor time and enjoy the pool for an hour each day!

Wild, Wild, West Week 
Giddy up cowboys and cowgirls! Grab your lassos and join us for this wild, wild, west adventure. During this week, you get a chance to meet new cowboys and cowgirls, just like yourself, play outside, and swim for an hour everyday! Come join us for this week’s adventure at our summer camp! See you there, YEE HAW!

Arts & Crafts Week 
How crafty are you? We may have the perfect craft for you! Come join us, as we become DIYer’s and meet new crafters just like yourself! We will spend time outside, and we will have pool time for an hour everyday! We can’t wait to see you this week, crafting along!
