Join us for the third annual Crystal Coast Indoor Triathlon! This is an indoor triathlon at The "GYM" Cape Carteret Aquatic & Wellness. This triathlon is for fun - every participant is a winner! The Triathlon consists of a 20-minute swim in our indoor pool, followed by a 20-minute indoor cycle class, and finally a 20-minute run on our Cybex Treadmills. This can be a great first multi-sport event for a beginner looking to step into the world of triathlons. For the established Triathlete, it could make a perfect brick workout in your training.

***NEW THIS YEAR!!!*** The last wave will be an iron competition wave of 50-minute swim, 50-minute indoor cycle class, and 50-minute treadmill run. Laps will be counted, mileage on both the indoor cycle and the treadmill will be recorded. IT'S TIME TO TEST YOUR ENDURANCE. 

This event will take place on Saturday, February 26th, 2022 with the first wave starting at 8:00 am. Each wave will only contain 10 participants, two athletes per lane. Participants will be able to enter a wave of their choosing during registration.

Registration opens Friday, November 25th, 2021 at 12:00pm and is set to close Friday, February 18, 2022 at 12:00pm. Register early for the best deal! Registration Price will increase incrementally leading up to the event. Spots are limited, so don't wait to register! 

Packet pickup will be available Friday, February 25th, 2022 from 12:00pm until 7:30pm at The GYM Cape Carteret Aquatic & Wellness at the Front Desk. Race day packet pickup will also be available at the Front Desk starting at 7:00 am through ten-minutes before your wave start. Participants will receive a swag bag containing a complimentary souvenir, as well as other race and promotional materials. 

The Pool Area, Basketball Court, and a set of Treadmills will be marked off with race tape and closed to gym members during the event. There will be volunteers at each station to direct participants, answer questions, and signal the start and finish of the wave.
